Roseanne, my neighbour here on Dutton’s main street, had a huge hibiscus potted plant in her window.

Every time I went by I looked for the changes in the many buds. I saw this particular one bloom. My, the colours were great. Raspberry and peach. This appealed to my senses.

I took photos of many of the buds at various stages. They were all gorgeous.

This is one I did in water colours.

The petals remind me of a diaphanous dancer’s dress. Love it!!
