Waterloo County, Ed and Don Feick with pitch forks and Earl at the wheel, while Leota has brought a honey pail of cool lemonade and a few sandwiches. Hot, hard work, but so satisfying when the mow is filled.   

This was a common scene back in the 1940’s. It brings back memories of the good old days down on the farm Back then men and women toiled long hours year round to put food on our tables. Much has changed in the farming community including technology but some things remain the same. Farmers and their families still work hard to feed us. Remember to thank them. - Jenny
