This farm in Waterloo County is where my mother was raised.

The farm is now farmed by my first cousin and his wife and family.

We spent our summer holidays here and had such great adventures. This was one of Mom’s favourite views. Walking from the back flats down the lane one could see bluebirds flying here and there. Butterflies and dragonflies wafted on the breeze while the warm sun dried us off after our dip in the old swim hole. I was so fortunate to have such a wonderful childhood in this idyllic setting. -Jenny
